"Im going to try and repeat [a theme] a number of times without any development, graduaylly increasing the orchestra as best as i can."

Those were Ravels thoughts about Bolro.
Originally all Bolros are twice faster than Ravels, but we will understand the composer, if we would think that what it would be like twice faster!.

"The Rhapsody surprised me by its Spanish character.-- But how could I explain the subtle authentic Hispanic quality if our musician, knowing, by his own admission, that he had but neighbouring relations with our country, being born near its frontier?--
Ravels Spain was a Spain ideally presented by his mother."

-Manuel de Falla, Spanish composer-

Comments was about Rhapsodie Espagnole.
the work was written in 1907-1908, althought its third movement was written in1895 for two pianos.
